Mika took a fresh approach to his style and method of beat making in this new wave of singles following 'Had Matter'. Just when I thought he couldn't get any better I find this gem in my email inbox and think "sweet baby Jesus, I better up my game."

So I prayed to Mother Kali and endlessly recited her mantra for a vision so that I could understand the truth of lyricism. Turns out Kali is a Goddess to remove ego illusion and I got more than I goddamn bargain for asking for material solution.

Mother Kali appeared before me wearing a garland of skulls and a skirt of dismembered arms owing to the fact that the ego arises out of identification with the body. She preached that in truth we are beings of spirit and not flesh. Therefore liberation can only arise when our attachment to the body detaches. Hence the garland and skirt are trophies worn by Her, to symbolize having liberated Her children from attachment to the limited body.

At this point my soul separated from my decaying body as Kali waved her sword while holding a freshly severed head dripping blood. Her deep black skin represented the womb of the quantum un-manifest from which all of creation arises and into which all of creation will eventually dissolve.

I would go on but what I would say is merely gibberish to unenlightened ears.

When I came to I was buck naked and the lyrics to this song were written all over my body.
